The writer's mission

The real task of a writer is to merge with the concerns of the street and mix literature and thought with the people's water, so that literature becomes a spark that illuminates and a sun that rises after darkness. Literature is not the literature of the elite, meaning that it is not the literature of literary salons and intellectuals, but literature is the literature of the street and the people, which becomes a hand that pushes people towards reform, development, and civilization.

It is important to maintain the artistic and technical level and consider the technical requirements.

When we write, we must merge with society and emerge from it, writing for ourselves and for it. We must be a bullet of a ladder that is fired for it.

When we write, we must be a spark of awareness seeking to create a social awakening, an intellectual and civilizational leap, and our pens should become ethical, scientific, and intellectual platforms.

When we write, we must put in our minds that we write for people in 2017, not for the Quraysh before the migration.

When you consider yourself a writer, you must be brave, a fighter, and a politician who expresses the concerns of your society and emerges from it.

When you consider yourself a writer, you must read and read in all fields (literature, religion, philosophy, humanities, experimental sciences, etc.) to understand your era and light your path, your society, and your country.

Writing is a lively action, not a source of pride, but rather an adventure where we challenge ourselves to change society and confront every ugliness within it. We become a fire that ignites to illuminate.

Oh writers, rise up with your people, even if it is with just a word, or withdraw.

We live in a difficult reality of writing due to the elitism of writers and thinkers that has created a distance between them and the people. This has resulted in alternative writing styles that have spread on social media.

However, it is important to utilize the intellectual seed on social media and to develop and refine our writing skills. It is also important for writers to step out of their velvet world and into the street.

What do we write and why?

These two questions are closely related because identifying the first aspect of our writing purpose will help us to some extent in defining our philosophy, style, and our unique writing identity.

We should write not for the sake of fame or pretending to be cultured, as this is a big crime. We should write because we love writing and because we find ourselves between the lines, adding the goal of our pens.

The pen that does not carry a purpose is only a piece of wood.

Writing is seeing the world and reimagining it so that people can easily draw their own reality. Writing is an industrial act, a craft and art where we shape beauty. Therefore, choose what suits you best: poetry, ideas, philosophy, literature, etc.

It's okay to stumble, for there is no perfect writer. But let's create, as there is a hungry community of creators.
